Ezzaty majored in Health and Society (Global Health concentration) and Anthropology in the University of Pennsylvania. She has organized and participated in numerous volunteering efforts around the globe from refugee aid in Warsaw, diabetes intervention in Guatemala, art education in Philadelphia, and child education in London and around Malaysia. Inspired by the beauty and messiness of life stories of the people she has met in these journeys, she aspires to enhance the use of qualitative data to tackle structural gender and class inequalities in policy decision making. Always keen to try new things, Ezzaty is currently learning Muay Thai, is a black belt in Taekwondo, a certified scuba diver, and a trail runner.
