Karen Mumba

Biography

Karen graduated with a Distinction in the Bachelor of Accountancy in 2013 and received the award for Best Graduating Student. Karen was the best student from the first to the final year and received the Bank of Zambia scholarship in her third and final year for her outstanding performance. She is currently a Senior-Associate in the Audit department at one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms in the world and is based in the Lusaka office. Karen was actively involved in the Association for Enterprise and Innovation whose main role was promoting entrepreneurship among University students as a means of tackling unemployment and poverty. Longer term, Karen aspires to be a leading mind in the field of business and spearhead the alleviation of poverty and unemployment and promote social justice.
