Biography

Joshua completed his LLB, achieving first in his class, and is currently undertaking the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law. Last year, he presented a paper at his University's Annual International Conference on regional integration and intellectual property laws in East Africa community member states. Whilst at university, Joshua was Chairperson of the Moi University Annex Campus Press Club which published articles on current affairs to the university. He was also Secretary General of the Moi University Students Organisation, representing the student body's views and voicing their issues. More recently, Joshua has served as an Intern for six months on the Kenya Human Rights Commission, speaking to people about human rights issues and conducting field research from various parts of the country. For relaxation, Joshua enjoys playing soccer, reading and writing fiction and listening to music. In the long-term, Joshua aspires to a career as an advocate and an academic, researching and publishing on issues of law as well as practising.
