Majida Al Maktoum

Biography

Majida is currently a senior student working on her capstone which focuses on political participation of Emirati youth. Majida volunteered at UNESCO's headquarters in Paris where she focused on youth empowerment in the culture sector for the Arab region. She has interned at the UAE Mission to the United Nations, the UAE Minister of Youth's Office, and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) office in Abu Dhabi, respectively. She was a UAE Youth Ambassador to China in 2017 and a UAE Youth Delegate at COP 23. At Oxford, Majida plans to study diplomacy to be better equipped to serve the UAE in the area of women empowerment on a national and international level.
