Our Community of Donors

The Rhodes Scholarships are funded by the Rhodes Trust and over 2,600 generous donors.

The work that Rhodes Scholars go on to do by guiding nations, curing diseases, advancing technology and elevating the positive potential of the world is only possible through your generous support.

We are deeply grateful to our community of supporters who have joined the Rhodes Trust in fighting the world's fight. We also recognise there are many ways to give back to the Rhodes Trust, whether through volunteering or anonymous donations.

To be part of this esteemed community is to be central to the conversations and actions that change the world.

At Rhodes House, We Regularly Honour & Thank Our Generous Donors.

We recognise exceptional contributions through leadership levels, our campaign boards, and celebrate all donors, large and small, in our Annual Report. Every year, Scholars and Staff come together to celebrate 'Donor Thank You Week', when our current Scholars-in-Residence have the opportunity to share with you the direct impact of your support.

The Rhodes Trust is also part of the University of Oxford's recognition programme, which is organised by the Development Office. For more information on how the University recognises gifts, please see here.

The Rhodes House community thank our donors for investing in a brighter future.

The Rhodes Scholarship changed my life, profoundly. It changed my understanding of the world, led to fabulous opportunities in life, and gave me treasured lifelong friendships with remarkable people around the globe. Most of all, it changed my expectations of myself.
