Biography
Johann Go is the inaugural Provost's Scholar at Worcester College in the University of Oxford, where he is currently developing a philosophical defence for open borders. Johann completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Auckland, graduating with a BA in Philosophy and Politics, and a BHSc in Population Health. Johann has held numerous volunteering and leadership roles, including his work with St John Ambulance which has spanned over 11 years. He has received numerous awards for his volunteering, including from the Governor-General and Minister of Health. Johann's academic interests lie broadly in moral and political philosophy, especially around theories of justice. He has published peer-reviewed academic articles in his fields of interest. At Oxford, he proposes to study for an MPhil in Political Theory.
