Swathi Srinivasan

Biography

Swathi Ravi Srinivasan is a senior at Harvard pursuing a double major in Social Studies and History of Science with a minor in Chemistry. She is currently writing two senior theses; one on the impact of inequality on COVID-19 outcomes in Brazil, and the other on the synthesis of an improved chemotherapy regimen for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Swathi researches HIV/AIDS, the opioid epidemic, and COVID-19 in various contexts including Ohio, Massachusetts, England, Portugal, and Brazil. She co-chaired the largest student-run think tank in the country, the Harvard Institute of Politics Policy Program, and previously interned at UNAIDS. Beyond advocating for health as a human right, Swathi enjoys teaching chemistry, hosting a punk rock radio show on WHRB Cambridge, and choreographing semi-classical dance for Ghungroo.
