Sarah Short

Biography

Sarah graduated from the University of Adelaide MBBS program with first class honours. Her thesis focused on novel approaches to islet transplantation in the management of diabetes mellitus. She is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Surgical Sciences and hopes to pursue surgical training in the future. At Oxford, Sarah hopes to conduct research in the field of translational medicine. She aims to complement future surgical practice with the promotion of research led improvements to clinical interventions. When not studying Sarah can generally be found outdoors - running, riding or swimming in preparation for the next multisport event.
