Biography
Justin completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace) and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) at the University of Queensland. During his studies, Justin investigated active systems designed to protect vehicles against Improvised Explosive Devices as well as interning with Boeing. Passionate about aerospace and particularly space travel, he is especially interested in the research field of hypersonics.
Justin previously played Australian Rules football professionally, however concussion forced him into early retirement. Now a concussion ambassador for the Queensland Brain Institute, Justin is still involved with football as a coach and volunteer. He is a keen cricketer and also enjoys rowing and hiking.
