Biography
Jessica Sutton has completed an LLB (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University of Wellington. Her primary area of interest is the intersection between women's rights issues and the law, in particular, issues of gender-based violence. Alongside her studies, Jessica is a clerk of the New Zealand Law Commission, Secretary of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs Wellington branch, and a refugee home tutor with English Language Partners New Zealand. Jessica is also Founder and Chair of a charitable trust She's Right, which aims to raise New Zealand's awareness of global women's rights issues. In her spare time, Jessica is active in theatre and music, as an actor, singer and dancer.
