Brendon Tankwa

Biography

Brendon is currently a final year Engineering Physics student and MasterCard Foundation Scholar at the University of British Columbia. From winning a nation-wide Math Olympiad in high school, to working on robotics and computational biology problems as an undergraduate researcher, to advocating for African business as a sound investment option, Brendon actively strives to bring a logical, versatile mind to problem solving. Right now, he has a manic fixation on solving the world's energy problems and has co-founded a clean energy start-up, Audacious Energy, to that effect. At Oxford he hopes to study a MSc in Energy Systems followed by an MBA.
