Biography
Nick is a recent graduate from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor and Masters of Chemical Engineering. He is passionate about finding engineering solutions to the climate crisis which enable sustainable growth. Nick also loves to teach; during his undergraduate degree, he coached the Queensland Schools Debating Team, and established educational structures for high school debating as President of the Queensland Debating Union and Australian Debating Federation. Currently he works for the Bauxite and Alumina Global Centre of Excellence with the engineering consultancy Worley. He enjoys playing his violin with the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, and finds practical application for his engineering degree as an enthusiastic baker.
