Munib Mesinovic

Biography

From Bosnia and Herzegovina, Munib Mesinovic is a Senior at NYU Abu Dhabi, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He strives to merge artificial intelligence with medicine to ensure equitable access to health management. His undergraduate thesis is an armband assessing risk scores of myocardial infarction to provide personalized prognoses. Through his community involvement as a volunteer leader for Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi, volunteer at the Future Centre for Special Needs, and a Student Cultural Ambassador in Sufara'a, Munib has connected with different facets of UAE culture. As a believer in peer-to-peer mentorship, Munib has taught undergraduate students and provided mentorship in College Admissions Mentorship for Africa. In his free time, he helps edit Airport Road, a creative writing journal, swims, and co-hosts a radio show.
