Biography
Luke Melas-Kyriazi is a senior at Harvard University pursuing a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Computer Science. Luke is interested in using machine learning to understand text and images, and in applications of machine learning to health and medicine. His research within the Computational Health Informatics Program at Boston Children's Hospital has included work analyzing demographic diversity using blood data in order to improve clinical decision-making. Outside of class and research, Luke serves as Treasurer of Harvard Student Agencies and organizes hackathons for computer science undergraduates. At Oxford, Luke will continue his studies in computer science.
