Biography
Kritika is a senior at Northeastern University majoring in bioengineering and minoring in chemistry. She has previously conducted biomedical research in industry, academia, and the government and is currently working on epigenetics and malaria in the Mazitschek Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. A recipient of the Truman and Goldwater Scholarships, Kritika understands that science alone will not eradicate disease. She founded and directs a nonprofit organization, Malaria Free World, which engages in peer-to-peer education, and she has worked to empower others through founding Northeastern's Global Health Initiative which produced one of the largest student-led undergraduate global health conferences in the nation. Kritika plans further her studies in clinical medicine at Oxford before returning to the US for medical school on her way to becoming a physician-scientist-advocate.
