Biography
Born and raised in Glenelg, Maryland, Daine Van de Wall is a Systems and Decision Sciences major at the United States Military Academy who is looking forward to joining the Infantry after completing graduate studies. As the First Captain, Daine is responsible for leading the over 4,500 students which make up the Corps of Cadets. His senior capstone will leverage systems dynamics to model how strategic placement of women in military and political leadership positions in Africa may contribute to political stability on the continent. Daine hopes to combine his military background with his interests in conflict studies to help shape US foreign policy in the future.
