Cephas Svosve

Biography

Cephas Svosve is a final year Actuarial Science student at National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe. He is the co-founder of Peniel Foundation, a scholarship fund that is currently sponsoring four primary school students. Cephas is also a Technical Advisor at Ruzhowa Investment bank which he jointly co-founded with a group of Zimbabwean students studying abroad. His core interest is in the study of the impact of investment markets on the society and he is currently developing a thesis on the applicability of Actuarial reserving methods to national budgeting. Through Ruzhowa, he intends to push for investments that are Social, Environmental and Governance directed. Cephas will continue his studies in the area of finance at the University of Oxford.
