Biography
Abbie is currently enrolled at the University of Belize; and is a social and environmental activist. Abbie has worked extensively with NGO groups in her country including UNICEF and Friends for Conservation and Development. She is also the founder of the Fridays for Future movement in Belize. She is passionate about social justice for women, children and minority groups in her country. Abbie's interests include reading literature, and creative writing. At Oxford, Abbie hopes to work to better understand the construction of the post-colonial identity and its impact on the developing world. Abbie will return to Belize and the Caribbean where she will push forward its development.
