Daniel graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Hons) and a Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honours in Bioethics, completing his thesis at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics. He is currently studying towards an economics degree at the London School of Economics (LSE). Daniel was one of two undergraduate recipients of the Boston Consulting Group Scholarship (BCG) in Oceania, before working on a collaboration between the World Economic Forum and BCG to advance value-based health care initiatives. Away from medicine, Daniel enjoys writing journalistic and academic articles on various topics, with publications in Australian broadsheets, The Conversation, The Lancet, Public Health Ethics and Bioethics. He enjoys playing cricket, football, rugby union and is an advanced open water diver. In the long run, Daniel hopes to integrate novel technologies to improve health care delivery and efficiency in both high- and low-income settings.
