Yogita Yogita

Biography

Yogita recently completed the Erasmus Mundus SERP+ Master’s in Chemistry, where her work at the Institut Galien Paris-Saclay (CNRS) focused on designing boron-rich polymeric nanoparticles for targeted cancer therapy. She previously studied Chemistry at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, undertaking research across green synthesis, organic methodology, and computational chemistry. Her academic interests centre on equitable nanomedicine and on using molecular design to develop personalised diagnostic and therapeutic platforms suited to diverse healthcare settings.

Outside the laboratory, Yogita has been actively involved in community work, contributing to initiatives in education, mental-health awareness, and service-oriented leadership. She is also trained in Bharatanatyam, has participated in dance and theatre during college, and enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures.

At Oxford, she plans to pursue a DPhil that allows her to continue her work on nanomaterials and explore innovative ways of combining chemistry, materials design, and biomedical applications. Her long-term goal is to contribute to the development of accessible and high-quality healthcare technologies in India.
