Biography
Will holds an A.B. in Mathematics and Philosophy and an S.M. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. At Oxford, he will read for the DPhil in Mathematics, and is broadly interested in continuum mechanics and mathematical biology, especially as pertains to slender structures.
His undergraduate thesis is on mathematical incompleteness in weak systems. Outside of academics, he served as the General Manager of the Harvard Krokodiloes, the Managing Editor of the Harvard Review of Philosophy, and the Director of the Mission Hill Afterschool Program.
