Trinity Lowthian graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2025 with a Honours Bachelor in Nutrition and Food Science and is currently completing a Masters in Human Kinetics with a specialisation in Sport Management at the University of Ottawa. She is an advocate for patient engagement in research and has collaborated with national organizations, including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Canadian Collaborative for Childhood Cannabinoid Therapeutics, to advance the integration of lived experience in research. Trinity has received awards including the King Charles III Coronation Medal and Ontario Premier’s Medal of Excellence in recognition of her leadership and athletic achievements. A 2024 Paralympian, she represents Canada internationally in wheelchair fencing and is a champion for para-sport and disability inclusion, having co-founded a provincial para-fencing circuit and championship in Ontario.
