Ryan Zengeni

Biography

Ryan graduated from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe with a First-Class degree in Actuarial Science. A former Joshua Nkomo Scholar, Ryan has consistently paired academic excellence with a deep commitment to community service which has seen him support initiatives at Harare Children’s Home, as well as tutor and mentor high school students. Through his work as a strategy consultant, Ryan has gained wide exposure across industries and developed an interest in how data, leadership, and policy intersect to shape institutional resilience. At Oxford, he intends to pursue an MSc in Statistical Science, followed by a Master of Public Policy. After Oxford, Ryan hopes to strengthen Zimbabwe’s social protection and public financial institutions, using data-driven insights.
