Osama Aljohani

Biography

Osama Aljohani is a senior Chemical Engineering student at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) specializing in hydrogen mobility. His undergraduate research focuses on crude-to-chemicals conversion using fluid catalytic cracking. He also completed an internship in Austin, Texas as a data and chemometrics analyst at JP3 Measurement. Committed to building communities, Osama has led several public relations and student initiatives to empower others, including GAMING+ for Saudi game developers, CITE for chemical engineering students, and Student Breakthrough Research, which trains undergraduates in research skills. He was also selected for the Qimam Fellowship and the Saudi Energy Leaders Assembly. He serves as the Data Analytics and Insights Lead on the Young Leaders Advisory Board. Raised in Yanbu Industrial City, Osama developed a strong interest in energy, chemicals, and water. Earning both the Aramco CPP and SABIC SSP scholarships, he plans to pursue the MSc in Energy Systems at Oxford.
