Miheso Collins Lemashon is a medical doctor and emerging public-health leader from Kenya. He has completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Nairobi and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy from the University of Nairobi in which he graduated top of his class as valedictorian with first-class honors. Miheso’s academic interests combine clinical medicine, medical education and research. He has authored and contributed to peer-reviewed outputs in AI- intersection in health and maintains an active researcher profile. Alongside his academic work Miheso is a leader and program organizer. He has served as the Chairperson of the Association of Medical Students of the University of Nairobi (AMSUN), a role in which he emphasized peer mentorship, service delivery and student advocacy. He has also led the University of Nairobi chapter of The President’s Award-Kenya, a subsidiary of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, where he coordinated youth development and service initiatives. Miheso’s international experience includes participation in IFMSA professional exchanges and clinical and surgical electives in Finland and Spain, reflecting his commitment to cross-border learning and collaboration. He has also held teaching and demonstrator roles within the University of Nairobi medical school and the Aga Khan University department of Biomedical Sciences. At Oxford, Miheso intends to pursue a Dphil in Surgical Sciences.
