Max Felter

Biography

Max A. Felter is a cadet at the United States Military Academy, where he is pursuing a BS with Honors in Applied Statistics and Data Science. At West Point, he is a Company Commander, organizing and overseeing the daily operations of the 127 cadets in company A3, and participates in the Sandhurst military skills competition. During his summers, Max has interned for the MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Palantir Technologies (through the 'DXDT Velocity' Scholarship), and the Army Analytics Group. Felter hopes to begin his career in the Infantry branch before transitioning to the Army Cyber Corps. As a Rhodes Scholar, he hopes to read for an MSc in Advanced Computer Science and an MSc in Social Data Science, pursuing the intersection of artificial intelligence and national security.
