Marianne Riering completed her BSc in Biosciences at the University of Heidelberg and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Molecular Biosciences at the University of Heidelberg and an MSc in Economics at FernUniversität Hagen, supported by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. Her academic interests focus on biomedical and cancer research, with research experience at the German Cancer Research Center and the University of Oxford. At the University of Oxford, Marianne would like to pursue a DPhil in cancer research. Beyond her research, she is committed to improving the lives of children living with cancer and chronic diseases through a wide range of engagement activities. In addition to her academic pursuits, Marianne is a dedicated soprano with a passion for classical and choral music.
