Kylene Monaghan

Biography

Kylene J. Monaghan, Blacksburg, Virginia, is a senior at Sewanee, The University of the South, where she is majoring in Mathematics and Physics. She is ranked first in her class and has interned at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider and worked as a research assistant for courses in quantum computing and thermal engineering. She is the captain of the Sewanee varsity soccer team and president of the Sewanee Society of Physics students. At Oxford, she intends to pursue an M.Sc. by Research in Engineering Science and an M.Sc. in Quantum Technologies.
