Moses Kayanda Kiteto holds a First-Class Honours B.Eng. in Chemical and Process Engineering from Moi University, Kenya, and he’s currently pursuing an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. He has a strong passion for research, driven by a commitment to find solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. His research, much of which has been published in scholarly peer-reviewed journals, focuses on water treatment and renewable energy technologies aimed at addressing the global issues of water scarcity and energy crisis. In water treatment, he has investigated the use of metal-organic framework photocatalysts for dye degradation. In the renewable energy sector he has explored the techno-economic feasibility of bioethanol production from citrus peel waste and the application of perovskites and iridium oxide electrocatalysts for green hydrogen production. At Oxford, he intends to pursue a DPhil in Engineering Science.
