Biography
Isam Mina is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) in Molecular Biology at Princeton University, with minors in Global Health & Health Policy and Quantitative & Computational Biology. A member of Mathey College and the Ivy Club, he serves as co-chair of Princeton’s Compassionate Medicine Fellowship and as the director of medical education for Princeton Emergency Medicine. His research focuses on the genetic and microbial contributors to cancer, particularly in skin, breast, and colorectal malignancies.
Beyond the lab, Isam founded initiatives to make first aid and CPR training resources more accessible to underserved communities across Jordan. In his free time, he enjoys playing squash, which he grew up playing competitively, as well as football, supporting Arsenal, volunteering in hospice care, and traveling.
