Biography
In’utu Imbuwa is a graduate of Northwestern University in Qatar, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Strategic Communication. As a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Global South at Northwestern University in Qatar, she completed a year-long independent study on Zambia’s political communication, published in English, Arabic, and Bemba. She is also the first author of a peer-reviewed journal article examining dress practices in Zambia and has presented her research at multiple International Communication Association conferences.
At Oxford, In’utu intends to pursue an MPhil in Development Studies, seeking to bridge academic research and policy in support of more equitable development. Beyond academia, she is passionate about storytelling and community service and enjoys sewing, volunteering, and traveling.
