In’utu Imbuwa is a Northwestern University in Qatar graduate with a BS in Journalism and Strategic Communication, graduating Cum Laude with Dean’s Scholastic High Honors. As a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Global South, she completed a year-long study on Zambia’s political communication, published in Arabic and Bemba. She is also first author on a journal article on Zambian dress practices and has presented her work at multiple ICA conferences. She plans to pursue graduate study in development and the Global South, aiming to bridge academic research and policy to advance equitable development. Beyond academics, she is passionate about storytelling and community service and enjoys sewing, volunteering, and traveling.
