Edward Ford

Biography

Edward Ford (he/they) graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in Government and International Relations and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), both with First Class Honours. Edward has worked for multiple non-profit organisations, with a strong focus on advocacy for queer people, disabled people, and improved access to social welfare systems. Their main academic interests include equity, the philosophy of rights, and the analysis of legal and political language used to (dis)empower minority groups. Outside of academic and professional interests, Edward plays the tenor saxophone, enjoys AFL, and is a keen figure skating enthusiast.
