Edward Ford

Biography

Edward Ford (he/they) graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in Government and International Relations, and will graduate from a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the end of 2025. Edward has worked for multiple non-profit organisations, with a strong focus on advocacy for queer people, disabled people, and people reliant on welfare payments. His main academic interests include equity, the philosophy of rights, and the analysis of language used to (dis)empower minority groups. They currently work as a senior paralegal at Allens. They also work as a research assistant at Sydney Law School. Outside of academic and professional interests, Edward plays the tenor saxophone, enjoys AFL, is a keen figure skating enthusiast, and bakes incredible focaccia.
