Yiming Chen is from Beijing, China and the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated from MIT, where she studied computer science and mathematics. She is passionate about machine learning for healthcare and tech policy, and her research focus has been computer vision and medical imaging. She is passionate about teaching and seeking clarity in scientific communication. She has played a traditional Chinese instrument called Guzheng since she was 4, and began singing in college. In her free time, she can also be found painting, running, ice-skating, exploring a city, or improvising new recipes.
