Biography
Wilhem Hector is a mechanical engineering student from MIT. His long-term goals are split between pioneering Haiti’s renewable energy infrastructure and expanding hands-on opportunities in the country‘s national curriculum. At Oxford, he intends to pursue an MSc in Energy Systems and another in Education (Digital and Social Change).
Outside of school, he leads the Hector Foundation, a non-profit organization providing educational opportunities to young people in Haiti. His hobbies include basketball, ping-pong, and event planning.
