Sofia Corona

Biography

Sofia L. Corona, Delray Beach, is a student at Harvard University studying for a BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics. She has designed her course of study to develop a multidisciplinary perspective on issues in transportation policy, including infrastructure development, clean energy governance, and community decision-making. Sofia has supported prosecutions of federal transportation oversight cases at the U.S. Department of Transportation, researched community participation and renewable energy implementation at the Allen Lab for Democracy Renovation and analyzed alternative vehicle upgrades for car models at BMW. She has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Denali and Aconcagua. At Oxford, Sofia plans to study for an MSc in Economics for Development and an MSc in Sustainability,Enterprise, and the Environment, and aspires to continue her bartending career at the Turf Tavern.
