Sofia Corona

Biography

Sofia Corona, a senior at Harvard College studying Applied Mathematics and Economics, is passionate about advancing sustainable transportation and mobility systems. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on infrastructure development, urban planning, renewable energy governance, and inclusive community decision-making. Sofia has conducted research with the Allen Lab for Democracy Renovation, MIT JTL-Transit Lab, Chile Ministry of Finance, and the Technical University of Munich’s MCube. She has interned at Uber, BMW, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and McKinsey. A former Harvard Varsity Sailing team member, Sofia has also run the Berlin, Boston, and NYC marathons. An avid mountaineer, she has summited Denali, Aconcagua, and Kilimanjaro. At Oxford, she aims to pursue an MSc in Economics for Development and an MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise, and the Environment.
