Biography

Muna Said is a quantum technologist, computer scientist, researcher, entrepreneur, and advocate for inclusive innovation. Her work sits at the intersection of emerging technologies and social impact. She is the co-founder of TAWI, an AI-powered company that supports children with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) through real-time audio enhancement and speech technologies. TAWI went on to win the Microsoft Imagine Cup, highlighting its potential to improve accessibility through technology. Muna is currently pursuing Quantum Technologies at the University of Oxford, where her research interests focus on improving the performance and scalability of spin-qubit quantum computers. Alongside her academic work, she serves as an Advisory Board Member at Girls in Quantum, where she mentors high school and undergraduate students and helps them navigate opportunities in quantum computing. She is also part of the student leadership committee at Oxford, contributing to the development and direction of the course. Outside of technology and research, Muna enjoys baking and playing football.
