Meret Ebsary

Biography

Meret is pursuing a Master’s in Global Health at the University of Geneva, specializing in Global Health Governance. She holds an Honours degree in Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where her original research on Newfoundland Suffrage earned the Susan McCorquodale Scholarship. Meret has presented to UN panels, NGOs, and guest lectured political theory. She has contributed to educational initiatives locally and abroad, recently serving as protocol officer for the first Global Model World Health Organization. She will soon be a visiting scholar for Newfoundland’s suffrage centennial. Her province instilled in her the transformative power of storytelling, a value she carries with her. At Oxford, she hopes to pursue an MSc in Political Theory and further contribute to global academic and policy discussions.
