Laura Wegner

Biography

Originally from Walsrode, Germany, Laura graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Computer Science and Healthcare Economics. She is passionate about healthcare technology and founded Mii, a digital healthcare passport that empowers patients to manage and access their health records anywhere in the world. At Oxford, she is completing an MSc in Social Data Science at the Oxford Internet Institute before beginning a DPhil in Biomedical Engineering, where her research will focus on clinical machine learning and algorithmic fairness.
