Jayden Parker is a Bermudian-Canadian wild animal biology student at the Royal Veterinary College, holding a BSc(H) in biomedical sciences from the University of Guelph. He has a background in exotic/marine animal care and rehabilitation, conservation, veterinary science, and environmental education. He is passionate about animal and environmental welfare, and is looking to pursue a career as a wildlife veterinarian and conservationist. He has worked extensively in the animal care field, in clinics, zoos, rehabilitation facilities, and on field research projects - even traveling to the Galápagos Islands and Borneo for conservation and rehabilitation work abroad. Jayden will be undertaking a project to reassess the population status of the critically endangered Bermuda skink during his MSc by Research in Biology at the University of Oxford.
