David Achara

Biography

David Achara is a Computer Science graduate from Nile University of Nigeria, where he graduated as the Best Student from his department. His interest in technology took root in software engineering and later expanded into machine learning, and through them, he has been able to create impactful solutions, from Fintech startup Auditro, to developing a COVID-19 Detection System for his undergraduate thesis. At the University of Oxford, he aims to equip himself with the foundational knowledge needed to produce commendable results in our world. David’s vision is to address the issue of strained healthcare systems across African countries by leveraging machine learning to build efficient and accessible solutions. He hopes to contribute to the reduction of access gaps, improving the quality of health for many.
