Zach Lang

Biography

Zachary Lang, Franconia, graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in June 2023 with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.A. in History and is currently working as an English Teaching Assistant through the Fulbright Program. Zachary's thesis was on the epistemic defects of ideological beliefs for which he won the Story Philosophy Prize. He has conducted research in meta-ethics, philosophy of law, and conceptual engineering. He was also a winner of the Charles Downer Hazen Prize in History. Zachary co-led the Student and Presidential Committee on Sexual Assault and was on the Student Advisory Board of Dartmouth's Sexual Violence Prevention Project. He is fluent in French and German and is an avid rock climber. Zachary will continue his studies in philosophy at Oxford.
