Tierrai Tull

Biography

Tierrai Tull is a senior at the University of Toronto specializing in Political Science, where she enrolled after graduating from United World College Dilijan in Armenia. Tierrai attended both institutions on full scholarship.

Tierrai received the Deans Excellence Award and Frank Peers research grants at UofT, which she used to study the etymology of appropriation, John Locke's Labour theory as a case for reparations, and Misogyny in the plantation economy. At Oxford, she plans to further her studies across the humanities, with a keen interest in women's studies, social policy, and comparative politics.

In Bermuda, Tierrai co-founded Bermuda Youth Connect, which endeavours to increase civic engagement locally, she is the youngest member of the Gender Affairs Council, which reports to the United Nations and is an avid volunteer. Tierrai believes in the power of balancing community, research and connection to co-create solutions for inequities, and loves to walk outdoors.
