Biography

Pranav is a recent graduate of Stanford University where he completed Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Computer Science, graduating as a Terman Scholar with Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi honors. Pranav’s interests are in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Biology, and he is interested in the use of AI tools to correct health disparities. He eventually hopes to become a physician-scientist and will return to the U.S. for medical school after Oxford.

Pranav has conducted research in cancer biology, bioelectronics, and clinical AI, with co-authorship in peer-reviewed journal publications. He also co-leads an ongoing project leveraging wearable and mobile tools for neuropathic pain interventions. A passionate advocate for technological innovation in medicine, Pranav led Stanford’s largest biotechnology and digital health student groups and also helped launch Stanford's PEER public health education program. Outside the lab, Pranav has led nationwide support groups for stroke survivors in the U.S., buddy support programs for traumatic brain injury survivors, and companionship initiatives for U.S. military veteran patients. At Oxford, Pranav is interested in health and technology policy, with a view towards developing governance frameworks for emerging technologies in healthcare.
