Biography

Nyasha Mukonoweshuro graduated from Loughborough University with first class honours. Having been selected as a Henry Fellow following the completion of her B.A. she attended Yale University for one year of graduate study, where she took courses within the Department of Political Science and Yale Law School. As an undergraduate she explored the value of narratives and testimony in reconciliation and transitional justice frameworks following violent conflict in Global South contexts. Stemming from her experiences as a former competitive swimmer, she is also passionate about supporting marginalised communities and creating equitable environments. She hopes to pursue a career in the legal sector, particularly in the fields of Public International and International Human Rights Law.
