Biography

Mrinalini Sisodia Wadhwa, New York, graduated from Columbia University as Salutatorian of the Class of 2024 with honors in History and Mathematics. Her interests lie in the intellectual and cultural history of empire, global Enlightenment, and intersections of gender, religion, and political thought. At Columbia, she co-founded the Columbia Journal of Asia, an endeavor to create space for Asian voices in academic and artistic circles, while leading the Columbia History Association and Undergraduate Law Review and serving as a Peer Writing Fellow. She has won fellowships to support archival work in France, Britain, and India, and conducted research on gender and constitutional law at Columbia Law School. In her spare time, she enjoys visual art, knitting, swimming, and meditation. At Oxford, Mrinalini will read for an MPhil in Intellectual History.
