Biography
Kate studies earth & energy sciences and international relations at Stanford, specialising in resource security and energy technologies. Her thesis investigates rare earth metal supply chains and their impact on US energy companies.
Kate generally likes thinking about the global economy and infrastructure—industrial processes, grids and new energy, semis, logistics, etc. She plans to further these interests at Oxford.
Outside of school and work, she enjoys playing/watching squash, snowboarding, and is an eager gastronome.
