Biography
Zhicheng (Charlie) Wang is currently pursuing a master’s degree in politics and international studies at the University of Cambridge. Previously, he earned his B.S. in international economics from Georgetown University and a master's in global affairs from Tsinghua University, where he studied as a Schwarzman Scholar.
Charlie's interest in the ethical application of technology stems from a high school programming project in New Zealand, where he developed a computer program that uses AI to help improve the communication skills of people with autism. He hopes to be a policymaker and advisor to Chinese technology companies on the role geopolitics plays in influencing technology.
In his spare time, he enjoys drone photography in the U.K. countryside, skiing in New Zealand and Chongli, China, and swimming.
