Brendon Mahere

Biography

Brendon is a senior Mastercard Foundation Scholar at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane pursuing a thematic focus in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering and Management Science. His academic and entrepreneurial interests lie in the deployment of renewable energy infrastructure across Africa and tailoring the financing mechanisms for the developing world. Brendon also passionately believes in the power of sustainable finance as a solution to developmental challenges across marginalised communities. At Oxford, Brendon aims to explore further his interests in energy systems and business.
