Biography

Ayomikun graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Management, and is an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group. He is passionate about championing reliable energy access across the African landscape and fostering culturally inclusive communities.

Ayomikun’s curiosity for energy innovations was fueled by his solar cell research under the MIT Energy Initiative and ML-aided completions research with Pioneer Natural Resources. At BCG, Ayomikun supports both public and private sector clients on a variety of renewable energy topics including clean energy transition, decarbonization roadmaps, and workforce development.

Ayomikun’s community-oriented mindset led him to launch a Davis Projects for Peace initiative that expanded educational programs for the Northeast Children's Trust (NECT), an organization that helps children affected by the Boko Haram insurgency in northeastern Nigeria. Ayomikun served on the MIT Department of Chemical Engineering’s DEI Committee, MIT African Students’ Association, MIT International Students Orientation, and was a member and lifegroup leader of MIT Cru.
